After getting all of the advice from you ladies on Facebook...I'm actually toying with the idea of starting an Etsy shop! I need a creative outlet and Etsy seems like a great option. The only problem is that I'm not sure what to make or sell. Some of you have said the button letters that I did with Mabel's name on them:
And some of you have said to sell either crib bedding or other sewn items.
I guess I could do both but I think I might stick with sewing. I just have to narrow down the ideas to only several products at least at first. I'm thinking quilts...ranging from baby quilts to king size quilts. But before I embark on this massive task, I think I'm going to attempt to make a king size quilt for our bed. That way I can see how difficult it is and if it's something I wouldn't mind making to put on Etsy.
I'll keep you all posted on this and we'll see where this goes! ;) If I do start a shop, I'll post on the whole process of setting up shop, how selling works and so on!

Sounds exciting! You did such a beautiful job with Mabel's bedding, I'm sure your quilt will look awesome! :)
I say Crib Bedding at first then go from there! ;)
I like the name with buttons and it seems a WHOLE not easier/faster then the blankets. It seems like you would be able to do more of them then the blankets. Just my opinion.
